With a humble beginning in the year 1979, as ‘Elite Aarogya Bhavan, today Elite Mission Hospital has grown to a full – fledged Super specialty Hospital with a galaxy of distinguished consultants in all specialities and advanced modern technologies & capable of catering to the health care needs of our society. This is the first hospital to get ISO 9001 certificate in Thrissur and with NABH accreditation.
Started in the year 2011, Elite College of Nursing, a unit of Elite Mission Hospital is affiliated to Kerala university of Health Sciences, recognized by Indian Nursing Council & Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council. It conducts 4 year B.Sc nursing course (8 semesters) with an annual intake of 40 students.
The college has its own 6 storied building with adequate infrastructural facilities for academic & residential college has fully equipped Laboratories, Library and Internet facility for students.

Our Objectives
The B.Sc. Nursing course provides students with deep theoretical knowledge and strong, hands-on practical skills. Our primary aim is to cultivate dedicated, responsible, and professionally efficient nurses for the modern healthcare field. We teach our graduates to view nursing as a service to humanity, not just a career, preparing them to deliver compassionate expert care.
Objectives
On completion of 4 year B.Sc Nursing programme, the graduate will be able to
- Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral Sciences, medicines including alternative system and Nursing in providing nursing care to individual, family and communities.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care based on the steps of the Nursing process in collaboration with Nursing health team members.
- Demonstrate leadership and administrative skills in working with the community and others in the provision of health care.
- Develop teaching, management, and communication skills.
- Practice ethical values in personal and professional life.
- Develop students' sensitivity and skill in human relationships in daily work.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills in making decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care.
- Provide promotive, preventive, and restorative health services in line with the national health policies and programmes.
- Recognize the need for continued learning for personal and professional development.
- Conduct needs-based research studies to improve the quality of nursing care.
