BSc Nursing

The B.Sc. Nursing course is designed to impart thorough theoretical and practical knowledge to students, with the goal of making them dedicated, responsible, and professionally efficient nurses who treat their work as a service rather than just a career. This comprehensive four-year program is structured into eight semesters.


Admission is open to candidates who meet the specific eligibility criteria. Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala (or an equivalent examination) with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and 50% in English. Additionally, candidates must have completed 17 years of age by the 31st of December of the admission year, with no relaxation of the minimum age allowed.

To be eligible for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program, candidates must have:

  • Passed the Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an equivalent examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and 50% marks in English in the second year.

Yes, hostel facilities are provided for girls within the college campus. The hostel can accommodate a minimum of 110 students in well-furnished rooms and provides good food at an affordable cost.

Students receive extensive clinical practice at our parent hospital, Elite Mission Hospital, which is a 300-bedded, NABH-accredited super-specialty hospital. Additionally, students are given opportunities to sharpen their clinical skills at other reputed hospitals, including Amala Cancer Centre, Mental Health Centre, West Fort, and Cooperative Hospital in Thrissur.
